Employment Opportunity - Engineering Technician
The District is seeking a qualified Engineering Technician to assist with environmental compliance, wastewater operations, and regulatory programs. Under general supervision, this position administers and implements the Industrial Waste Pretreatment Program, Fats, Oils and Grease (FOG) program, and supports compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations. The Engineering Technician also reviews development plans, conducts inspections, maintains regulatory records, and responds to wastewater system issues and emergencies.
Employment in this position is contingent upon final approval by GWSD’s Board of Directors and completion of any applicable labor relations processes. GWSD reserves the right to modify, delay, or cancel this recruitment based on the outcome of those processes.
